Natasja Franzini

Who is Natasja Franzini?

BI Consultant

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Amsterdam, but I’ve been in Heerhugowaard for a few years.

What did you study?

I did a Master’s in Social Psychology at the University of Amsterdam, and after that I earned a number of official certificates in the field of Business Intelligence.

What makes Dynamic People unique?

Dynamic People is unique because of the positive approach of the people who work here, and their unique approach to projects. Quality before quantity is our motto, even if that means you have to sell a “no” now and then. That, I feel, is something really valuable in your role as consultant; after all, you want to be sure you’re delivering quality every time.

What’s your role within Dynamic People?

As BI Consultant within Dynamic People, one of the things I do is create the dashboards for the customer, or I deliver a data set that the customer can start working with right away. The main tool that we use for this is Power BI. My team’s mission is to convert data into valuable information for our customers, so they can respond to it in a directed way and make choices based on the insights they provide.

What do you look for in a job, and what makes working for Dynamic People so much fun?

I think it’s important to have knowledge of the entire BI process. From collecting the data from the various data sources, to transforming the data, to visualizing the data, I think that’s how you offer your client the most. I also work in a relatively new team that has a lot of freedom to investigate and try out new ideas within BI. For me that’s something really fun and really important, the freedom to keep innovating and improving makes me a more complete BI Consultant.

What are your ambitions?

My ambition is to always be one step ahead of the client. There are new developments in BI constantly, so we always want to be able to offer whatever option is going to be helping the customer move forward best right now. To stay on top of all that, I read a lot about the latest developments and I go to a lot of events where the latest things in BI are being presented.

Do you have a particular passion/ hobby?

My great love is travel. That may not sound all that unique, but I have really travelled a whole lot of the world on my own. I learned so much from the people I met along the way and the differences in all the cultures I was able to experience.

What, would you say, is your life motto?

‘Dream as if you will live forever; live as if you will die today’.
