Where are you from?

I am from Holland. I was born in Den Helder, lived in Tiel until I was 14 and then moved to Hoorn where I lived for 20 years. I am now living in Oudkarspel with my partner for the last 3 years.

What did you study?

I studied International Business and Languages in Alkmaar. I took French and Spanish classes. Unfortunately, Spanish didn’t really stick. My French is reasonable I think 😅

What is your role and what do you enjoy most about your job?

I am planner (official job title is: Project Planner Lead) and I stay on top of the resource planning, making sure resources are booked properly and I try to inform and advice my colleagues about availability of our resources. I also chase everyone for their timesheets every week. It is important to make sure everyone hands them in on time so our financial process can run smoothly.

What I love most about my job is that I get to talk to al lot of my colleagues daily. Not only my own team, but also a lot of consultants and other colleagues. I don’t just feel part of the projectmanagement team but I feel connected to all of the teams.

Do you have any hobbies or passions outside of work?

I love arts and crafts, you’ll find me often working on some kind of art project. Whether it is a small papercraft to hand out at my kids daycare or making artwork out of old toys or even making digital art using midjourney AI technology.

I am also one to bingewatch Netflix series or just swiping on TikTok with a cup of tea and a blanket on the couch. I used to train karate and I am planning to pick that up again later this year.

What is your favorite food, and do you have any secret food indulgences?

It is hard to pick since I enjoy most foods. But my favorite is Italian food, I love pasta. The simpler the better. As my colleagues well know, I also love chocolate, my current favorite is dark chocolate with orange.

If you had to choose, which TV show or cartoon character would you say defines you?

I have asked chat GPT to answer this question because I couldn’t think of one. This is the answer it came up with:

I mean that sounds way cooler. However she turned out to be a bit crazy…… Ahh well, could also be me 😉

Last but not least, what do you love about our company, and which core value connects with you the most?

I Love working for Dynamic People, I feel like I can be myself. I can work from home or at the office. There is room to learn, and showing initiatives. Dynamic People expects us to work hard, but there is also time for relaxation and fun. We know and feel this through the events that are organized and the way they care for their personnel. 😊
