From Spain to the Dutch beach

Gonzalo enjoys his time at Dynamic People

If you asked any engineering student what they want to do after they are done with school, you would get a huge variety of answers. However, more than likely, becoming a Dynamics 365 Consultant is not one of them. Not because it doesn’t require the different skills they have learned, but because the technologies to achieve the real application of their knowledge are not taught at university.

First introduction with Dynamics

After Gonzalo got graduated, he started working at Deloitte Spain. There, he was introduced to the Dynamics 365 family, specifically Dynamics 365 Business Central.

It’s said that all of us have somebody who pushes us to aspire to more. In this case, it was Gonzalo’s older brother, who migrated to Germany seven years ago in search of a better way of living. Pushed by his brother and by the Spanish economic situation, Gonzalo moved to Düsseldorf in January 2020 with his girlfriend.

First interview

By February, he secured an interview at Dynamic People. On the day of his interview, he was driving around the area looking for a nice place to move and had the great idea to visit Zandvoort. “I immediately fell in love with the idea of living at the beach while simultaneously being able to work for a consulting company.”

COVID-19

The Coronavirus lockdown in the Netherlands took place as soon as Gonzalo started working for Dynamic People. “It didn’t take me too long to realize how welcoming Dynamic People is. I was able to work in English with a group of workmates from all around the world. Having the opportunity to work with people from so many different cultures is truly an enriching experience”.

Gonzalo began working with manufacturing customers, such as QWIC, where he is part of the team responsible for implementing new business and logistics operations for the company.

Dynamics 365 Business Central,

Gonzalo now experiences the exponential growth of the Business Central team which allows him to take on more and more responsibilities in the different projects both externally and internally.

“Dynamics 365 Business Central is getting more attention than ever before. New investments by Microsoft are making the ERP’s shares bigger than ever, and at Dynamic People we are excited to be a part of this new era where more and more SMBs are moving into the Dynamics 365 family”.
