Gaining insights into company information is crucial for any organization. This was especially true for GraydonCreditsafe after the merger of Graydon and Creditsafe. The growing need for reliable internal reporting led to a partnership with Dynamic People. Three years later, GraydonCreditsafe has real-time insights into business performance and customer activity.

After a challenging start with a previous BI tool, GraydonCreditsafe decided in 2020 to switch to Microsoft PowerBI. Dynamic People was chosen for their extensive technical expertise and experience with Azure and Data Warehouse. The implementation had its challenges, but thanks to close collaboration and intensive communication, the project delivered impressive results.
Aligning the business process chain, from the initial customer interaction to the final deliver, was essential. This was part of the ‘lead-to-cash lite’ project, focusing on three key pillars: optimizing and standardizing the SAP ERP system, implementing the BI tool, and improving data governance. By integrating AI and SAP solutions, GraydonCreditsafe aimed to future-proof its business model.
GraydonCreditsafe provides data-driven insights to support better business decisions. With 150 years of combined experience and a unique blend of global data and local market knowledge, the company helps clients foster financial stability and growth. Their services include payment experiences, business network connections, and innovative solutions to help companies grow with confidence.
The initial BI project began with InfoBirst but failed to deliver the desired results. “The reports weren’t fully reliable due to inconsistent processes across our administrative departments in different countries,” Alex explains. The departure of key project members and the tool’s complexity further complicated matters. In 2020, GraydonCreditsafe initiated a new procurement process, inviting several vendors to submit proposals. Dynamic People was selected based on their expertise and the strong rapport with the team.
Thanks to the implementation of the self-service BI tool, departments can now analyze their own data, saving us a lot of time.

Implementing PowerBI presented several challenges. SAP was unfamiliar territory for Dynamic People, requiring significant effort to grasp the intricacies of the data. Internally, the team also had to learn how to maximize the SAP data’s potential. “The beginning was tough, but ultimately, we gained valuable insights into our own data,” says Alex. “This helped us further optimize and standardize our ERP processes and ways of working.”
The most significant outcome was the development of a self-service BI tool. Departments ranging from sales to finance can now independently generate and analyze reports. “The number of queries directed to business controllers and the finance team dropped dramatically. This saves us a tremendous amount of time,” Alex shares. Additionally, the company can now more easily detect and correct administrative errors in contracts, enhancing service quality.
Another remarkable result was the increase in available data. Large volumes of new information now flow into the system daily, allowing for quicker trend detection and more proactive customer service.
The collaboration with Dynamic People was characterized by open and frequent communication. “The lines of communication were short, and they kept us informed at every step. Sometimes it felt like information overload, but that’s better than being in the dark,” Alex says with a laugh. Communication was meticulously documented, and expectations were clearly managed. Regular live meetings, whether online or in-person, accelerated the project’s progress.
Alex noted a distinct difference in communication styles compared to previous vendors. “Perhaps it’s the Dutch mentality, but Dynamic People is straightforward and honest. If a request is unrealistic, they tell you right away and suggest a better alternative. They actively think along with us and consistently go the extra mile.” The approachable nature of the company also stood out: “When you visit their office, the directors make time to greet you. It feels like a genuinely people-centric organization.”
The successful implementation of PowerBI marks a milestone, but the partnership continues. Dynamic People remains the go-to partner for everything related to PowerBI, Data Warehouse, and Azure. The current focus is on providing training and support for Dynamics Finance & Operations. “We’re extremely satisfied with the collaboration and look forward to our next steps,” concludes Alex.
